BBC Parade of Homes - Bedroom!
I'm joining Deb over at Heavenly Humor today as she continues her Monday BBC Parade of Homes. This week we're visiting bedrooms! Last week we had a blast visiting each others kitchens and hope you'll join the fun by simply clicking here to get to her Mcklinky and follow the instructions!
I must say that I never thought I would join something with either the word "big" or "butt" in the title....not to mention those words together, BUT (no pun intended, LOL) I joined in with Deb and other bloggy girlfriend sisters and have been laughing ever since!
So, welcome to one of my guest rooms! This room has great expansive views of the mountains and distant valley and when it snows, it's a winter wonderland! And, when the sun or moon rise over the distant mountain range it's simply breathtaking! The picture really doesn't do it justice. I love the whole lodge, fish camp, moose look for this room. Eventually, I'm gonna paint it a darker, richer color. Haven't found just the right valences yet, but still on the hunt! Also, you can't see them from this angle, but leaning in the corner I have my prized antique snow shoes....they finish off the lodge look.

Ahhh, Jackie, it's gorgeous! LOVE the decor. Wish I could see the snowshoes. I have an old set hanging in my kitchen, but they're not in the greatest condition.
You have a real knack for decorating. And with that view? This room should be in a decorating magazine. Can't wait to see more pictures of your house!

Hi Momma!!! Gosh I wish I was curled up on up on your day bed and enjoying your beautiful fire place! You aughta showcase your living room....now thats a beautiful room to show off! Can you believe that it's 19 degrees in Jacksonville, FL. It's been the coldest in history...crazy huh?!! I didnt know that I should have put a fire place on my list of requirements when house hunting! Stay warm and cuddle up with Maggie and Murphy for me. Give Dad a hug and kiss from all of us. Love and miss you! I would say come and visit, but it's warmer there in the AZ mountains than it is here lol!!! At least Bryan is in South America staying warm for ALL of us!!! ha, ha!! hugs- Katie
