Would appreciate your prayer...surgery arg!!

Hey ya'll!

I sure would appreciate your prayers!  Tomorrow, I'm having surgery.....arg! Nothing life threatening, but not looking forward to going under the knife, ya'll!  Last November my left little finger and ring finger went numb and weak and then began to affect my hand.  Nerve conduction tests show that I have an impingement of a nerve in my elbow.  I've already put this surgery off several times due to my mama's health needs (update on my sweet mama below) and our recent move, but when I saw my surgeon last week, we both agreed that I MUST get this done asap.  Test's show that I have moderate to severe loss of strength in my left hand.  Simple things like turning a light on, tying my shoes or typing are a strain.  Kinda gets on my nerves (no pun intended) trying to type a blog post and my fingers fall off the key board.......it's not a pretty picture, ya'll:)!  Anyway, if you could remember me in prayer I sure would appreciate it!  I'm believing for an easy surgery, wisdom for the doctors and NO permanent nerve damage and COMPLETE RESTORATION of my hand.  Also, I'm believing that the anesthetic doesn't make me nauseous!  The last time I had surgery I barfed my head off.....I hate that!!

Thank you dear friends for your prayer support.  I love and appreciate each of you and pray for you as well!  You bless and encourage my heart!!

HE IS FAITHFUL!!

Luv, Hugs and Sweet Blessings!:)

UPDATE ON MY SWEET MAMA:  Mama had another stroke this week.  I was with her when it occurred.  She's been in the hospital this week and transfered to nursing care yesterday and doing better.  Heartbreaking to see her go through this, but I know that He's in her midst and the Holy Spirit is comforting her weary mind and body.  She lost the use of her right hand and we are believing for restoration there.  Would appreciate your prayers for her too!  Bless you!!!

Jackie I have already lifted you in prayer and will continue to pray tomorrow that all goes well. I too have been putting off getting my knees done, but it is getting closer and closer as I am soo tired of being not able to walk and go where I need to go, let alone where I "WANT" to go. You will be soo happy when this is done I am sure. Blessings to you, Debbie

Dear Jackie...you are in my thoughts and prayers today and especially tomorrow. The Great Physician is already waiting on you in the O.R., and He will guide the DR who performs the procedure. We're already thanking the Lord for complete restoration for you! Will keep your mom in our prayers too. Take care! ((hugs)) and prayers for a speedy recovery for you are on their way to the Throne Room even now!

Jackie, well you friends are here for you...to hold you up before our Father as you face this surgery tomorrow, and with all you and your mom have gone though...and also for the family of the man who went home to Jesus. I hope you get a quick chance to read this before you go into surgery. TELL THEM YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF GETTING NAUSEOUS FROM THE ANESTHESIA and there is a shot they can give you ahead of time that WORKS. I've been through it too and oh my it makes ALL the difference. Take care and rest in Him.

Jackie, I'm saying a prayer for you. I've experienced a lot of nerve pain, leaving my teaching days behind a becoming a rehabilitation counselor to help others with pain. Most of all, I believe in God's ability to keep us safe and under His wing. God bless you, and I look forward to your update.

Jackie, I don't know if you are already out of surgery, right in the middle, or still facing it today but I have prayed for you that you will have full recovery of the strength in your hand.
