Jackie,
Thanks for filling me in on your mom. I was unaware of her stroke. Isn't that something that we are both going through the same thing.

He has therapy coming in starting this week - so I hope he can get some stronger. Otherwise....If he doesn't want to get better, I can't continue to drag him. I keep hearing over and over in my spirit - "you can drag a horse to water but you can't force him to drink." I've been pouring the living water back into him but it just keeps leaking out. I don't get it! He was an active pastor for 42 years....and doesn't believe that God can change his situation - even tho God has healed him and delivered him many times through the years.

Your faith was exciting to hear in the previous post about your niece. You must be a prayer warrior like myself.

I'm so confused about dad's loss of FAITH. It's like he's lost his anchor and is floating around - lost at sea.

Maybe the elderly are just vulnerable to the enemy coming in and playing havoc with their minds. It is just so depressing to watch . My faith is still intact and strong! But the the man who taught me about faith doesn't seem to have any now. That is the hardest thing to watch. Depression is a terrible thing!

Well, sweetie, thanks for visiting and sharing. I will be praying for you and your mom and your niece. God bless you for all that you are and do for these special people in your life.

Keep the faith - and stay strong in that prayer life of yours.

I have been standing for complete healing for Anne Marie and I feel like I'm part of her family I am so attached to her in prayer! What really helped me was the way you prayed for her on your blog, Jackie. I printed it out and pray daily.

Love you,
Mary

Standing with you in prayer of agreement knowing that we serve a mighty God. This just came to me while commenting.

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s."--Psalm 103:1-5

Be blessed!
